Emma's Graduation Day

On Thursday, May 17th, Emma graduated preschool. They put together a really fun day for them.

Daddy reading to Emma while we waited for the program to start

Emma's class (minus a few that had moved a few weeks ago)

They sang 3 songs for us that they had learned through out the year. They were so cute doing the actions and all.

After the songs were over they put a podium in the middle of the floor and Miss Katie read out each child's name and they got to go up to get their certificate and stand on the podium while we all clapped and while parents took pictures.

After that they had their tables set up to do scrapbooks. Each child got an envelope full of pictures taken of them through out the year and they got to make 4 scrapbook pages of them. I thought that was really neat and Emma loved being able to take something home that reminded her of her friends she met.

After that we got to play with our child on the playground

Emma and Skyler got a little tangled :)

Then we all got to have a picnic lunch

For the rest of the day, it was Emma's day.  We got to do what she wanted to do and we made a special treat and watched a movie. She also got to stay up late and sleep in the living room.

We looked through all of my pinterest desserts and she chose Hot Chocolate cookies which I was really excited about because I have been wanting to try these...and boy were they yummy!!!

They were even yummier the 2nd day after you put them in the microwave for 5 seconds...all that gooey chocolate oozing out!

For dinner we had Papa Murphy's pizza and she got to get a personal pan and make it herself. She chose what toppings she wanted and everything. She absolutely loved that. She has never really had a favorite food so I was having a hard time figuring out a special dinner for her. She loves to cook and make things though so I thought this would be a great treat for her and it was :)

The finished product. It is kind of hard to see but she made it into a smiley face using pepperoni as the eyes and nose and mushrooms as the mouth.

And of course she chose a barbie movie to watch to end her fun day :)
