Christmas

We had a really nice Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve, we went over to my parent's house for our annual dinner, Christmas movie and opening of the presents. This year Mike's mom came with us so that was fun. We had a taco bar, yummy desserts and watched Christmas for a Dollar. Such a great movie!

Here is Emma making some M&M chocolate chip cookies for Santa. She learned that that was his favorite cookie when she sat on his lap this year :)

This year we read the book, The Last Straw and did acts of kindness for each other through out the month of December. Every time we did an act of kindness for one another we got to put a straw in baby Jesus' manger. Here is Emma putting Baby Jesus in the manger on Christmas! The manger was pretty full!

So, we actually got 2 helicopters for Joey. The first one wasn't as good as expected so we got him a more durable one. We got this other one at such a good price that we let Joey give it to Emma so they both could have one.

Mike's brother came over a bit later for dinner and opening more presents. Jason gave both the kids Mp3 players. Emma really likes hers :)

We had a really nice day. We had our traditional cinnamon rolls and just relaxed in our pj's all day. It was nice!
