We got there pretty late or I guess I should say early Saturday morning. We slept a little in our hotel and then got up early to go on a house hunt. We searched all day Saturday. Saw 6 or 7 homes and had no luck.
We stopped here for lunch because Emma has an obsession with grilled cheese sandwiches. :)
One happy girl
I am not a big fan of the traditional grilled cheese sandwich. My mom made me a different kind growing up. I like one piece of bread with cheese on top and then stick it in the oven....Mmmmmmm! This s'more one though was sure tasty!
Our cool and very tall hotel in Burbank. It was two buildings and you could see it from far away which was nice since we got lost a lot :)
Saturday night we went and saw How to Train your Dragon 2. Joey has been waiting a long time to see this movie. It didn't disappoint!
We found this French bakery in Burbank that had very yummy desserts. One was this apple tart that looked like a rose. Pretty cool!
On Monday, me and the kids stuck around the hotel and watched a movie and ate popcorn while Mike went to his interview.
Well....he got the job! Which made it quite demanding to find a place to live. We called a few more listings that popped up on the internet that day and guess what? The very last house we saw, we loved! Which was good since it was around 6pm and we really needed to get on the road.
Meet our new home in Pasadena, California!
Since we left so late, we got a hotel in Las Vegas and stayed the night there. Tuesday morning we slept in a little and then went to one of our favorite burger joints, Steak-n-shake!
Then we quickly got home because we had some packin' to do! We only had 2 weeks to pack up our house and move!

We always ate grilled cheese sandwiches the same way, one slice of bread in the oven. :)
