It was pretty sad though. I got the kids all excited about staying in a hotel and going swimming while daddy went to a bachelor party. Right when we got into town though, a huge storm hit. They were telling everyone to stay inside because if you could hear the thunder then that meant you were close enough to get hit by lightening. Blah!
We braved it and did some shopping while we waited for Brandon to get into town. Once he arrived we took him and Kay Dee (his fiancé) to Sams Club and bought them 200.00 worth of groceries as their wedding gift. We then found an awesome All you can Eat Pizza Place. If any of you are ever in Idaho Falls I recommend you go and try Craigos Gourmet Pizza Co. It is so good and they have the best dessert pizza that I have ever tried!
After we ate, Mike and Brandon went to Leo's to play some laser tag while I went to Walmart and then put the kids to bed.
The next morning Mike went and did an endowment session with Brandon and Kay Dee while me and the kiddos got ready. Our hotel gave us a wonderful continental breakfast in their restaurant. This is something new that the Red Lion's are doing. You used to have to pay 7.00 for their breakfast. The kids really enjoyed it..they made quite a few people laugh by how excited they were that they could have as much fruit as they wanted! :)

We then headed off to the temple. (I love the heart made out of the flowers!)

It was such a beautiful sealing! I am so glad these two found each other. They are perfect for each other.

Brandon and the Best Man, Mike

All the friends that were able to make it the sealing!

They then had a yummy luncheon! We had waffles with a ton of fruit and whipped topping and sausages.
They actually cut their cake at the luncheon. Kay Dee is allergic to sugar and so they made a special cheese cake for her that was sugar free.

Cutting the cake!
Then the reception was that night. They had an assortment of some really yummy breads and muffins. It was really good and the kids of course loved it. My kids are such carb kids! :)
They had this really cute swing right when you walked in and the photographer took pictures of everyone that came in. We don't look that great as you can see, but at least I am smiling :)

After the reception we headed home. It was a short but very nice trip. It was great to just get away for a day and spend some time with friends and not have to worry about anything.
Congratulations Brandon and Kay Dee and good luck in Moscow! Wish we were there with ya!
