She chose to dress up like Ariel. There were 150 kids their besides Emma so it was a little crowded. Everyone got seated to a table that had a lot of yummy cakes, fruit and pink lemonade on it. Emma chose a chocolate cake and fruit and I had a lemon cake and fruit.
While everyone was eating ,a ballet group here in Utah performed Sleeping Beauty. It was pretty cool but kind of long. Emma was getting a bit bored :)
Here is Aurora and the 3 Fairy Godmothers.
The one in the black represents the witch.
And here are Sleeping Beauty and the Prince reunited after she woke up.
Then they had story time. The lady in the blue dress read them 2 books. One about a Princess and one about a ballerina.
Then they made tiaras. Emma sure loved this. She loves doing projects and creating things.
The finished project
My Little Princess!
We then went outside and had a mini parade to show off the kids tiaras and princess outfits. This isn't the greatest picture but oh well! It isn't that easy running in front of a ton of parents to get a picture of your kid :)
After the parade the Prince and Princess and the ballerinas stood around to take pictures with the kids.
Here is Emma with the Princess and the Prince.
After we took the above picture we realized there was probably better places to take a picture. So here is take 2! :)
And Miss Emma again
It was a lot of fun. We showed up a little late due to us trying to get ready for the fair and selling thrive there, so at first we felt a little rushed but I think Emma had fun. She really enjoyed making the tiara and wears it all the time and I was glad I was able to do something girlie with her!
