We started out by going and seeing where Santa was going to be and taking a fun picture by the fireplace
We then went and got some Christmas cookies and cider. Unfortunately, the Cider was out but the cookies were yummy! Around 6:30, they turned on all the lights. The kids loved it! It was so pretty. This picture doesn't do it justice but you get the idea.
Santa was going to come around 7 or so to turn on the Christmas tree lights and to see all the good girls and boys so we decided to do all the activities while we waited.
My kids have always been funny about face painting so we skipped that activity and went and made picture frames.
They then got to write post cards to Santa and put them in a special mailbox that goes directly to the North Pole.
Gotta love Joeys..he put my phone number on there...lol! It isn't very legible because he has to use his left hand but I am sure Santa could read it!
While the lights were being turned on workers there were passing around light sticks.
They then got balloon animals. Emma got a Candy Cane and Joey got a snake
At this point we were going to go see Santa but Emma didn't like the line. She went and saw him through the window and said Ok, Mom I have seen him, we can go :)
We then decided to go on a carriage ride. While we were waiting the kids played in a grassy area with some other kids. Emma turned her candy cane into an ornament. I thought it was cute. Again, sorry for the picture..I hate my camera sometimes!

Well, it started to snow and we were frozen so we decided to call it a night and go pick up Mike from his concert. It was a lot of fun and just what we needed to bring in the Holidays!
