Emma chose to go as Ariel when she gets married. They gave each girl a crown with their name on it.
My cute princess anxiously waiting for the party to start
First they had a trivia game. They gave clues about a certain princess and then the girls had to tell them who it was. Emma didn't quite get that you had to raise your hand to say the answer. She just shouted out the name of the princess the minute she knew. :)
Not quite sure what she was looking at but this is just minutes before she slid right off the bench and landed flat on the floor. See how she is sitting? She has sat like this since the minute she could sit on her own. Funny girl! All the doctors told me she wouldn't walk right if she wouldn't stop sitting this way but there was no way to get her to stop. And she walks just fine but apparently she has no coordination in other areas :)
Next they had a tea cup game. They had to pick up a sugar cube using a colored spoon from one tea cup and take it to the coordinating color of tea cup across the room. They each got to pick out a cute sticker afterwards.
Emma was the last one to play the game. This is her after she was done. This is her I am shy and don't know what to do next face.
All the girls then got a plastic tea cup and got to decorate them with jewels. I love Emma in this picture. This is her concentration face. I love watching her trying to figure things out.
Her finished tea cup
I think she had a lot of fun! She was so excited when she found out what we were doing and when she saw all the other girls dressed up in Princess outfits. It's fun to be able to do these kinds of things with her while she is little. And hopefully it will help her to not be so shy and get out of her comfort zone. Aw, So much like her mother :)
