September Happenings

On Thursday, September 19th, the Scout's Pack Meeting was at Wheeler Farms. We got to eat pigs in a blanket, walk around the farm and each of the boys got to milk a cow.

All the boys in line

They are so funny. They loved this wagon and wanted to take "professional" pictures there. Too bad I didn't have my better camera.

On Thursday, September 26th, Emma made her first batch of cookies without using her easy bake oven. She was pretty impressed with herself and they turned out yummy!

On Saturday, September 28th, we took a scenic car ride through the Nebo Canyon to look at the changing of the leaves. I was a little worried because it had snowed the previous day but we still went. Although, it wasn't as colorful as I remember, it was still beautiful. I guess next year we will need to go earlier.

Here are a few of my favorite pics

Joey being the statue of liberty for some reason :)

Can you see the snow? Going through the canyon, there were a few times where on one side of the road there would be pretty colored trees and on the other side of the road the mountain would be covered in snow.

When we got out of the canyon, we were in Nephi so we stopped for dinner at this yummy place that my parents had told us about. It is called J.C. Michelson. It was so good. They give you a ton of food for a little price and they have the best scones! Joey and Emma loved it because they had a really awesome and huge handmade train set running throughout the restaurant.

We had a lot of fun and I was glad we went. It was a great way to start out the fall season!
