Joey's 9th Birthday

Joey turned 9 on Sunday, December 29th. Because his birthday was on a Sunday, it seemed like his birthday was extended :) He had his friends party on Saturday, a family party on Sunday and we took him out to dinner on Monday. He is sure loved!

For his birthday breakfast this year, I made him an erupting Volcano pancake. He loved it!
 

That night, we had dinner and cake and ice cream with the family.

Joey opening presents. He got season 1 of How to Train your Dragon from Grandma and Grandpa Self.

From Us he got a stunt Hot Wheels racer that goes up walls. He was pretty excited about that

And The Book of Commandments from our trip back east. He was very surprised by this as you can see. He really wanted one while we were there so I got one and have been saving it for his birthday.

Uncle Jason, Cory and Daniel got him a robot

Grandma and Grandpa Hallmark came down for a Jazz game so they were able to be here for his birthday too. They gave him some money and he bought a hot wheels track with it.
