Here are the kids waiting for the pool to fill up, and Emma getting annoyed at the girl filling up the pool..she kept splashing them. Emma is saying No!
And Stop!
Emma is not a big liker of water..It took me forever to just get her to like the bathtub. Last year Emma screamed when we put her into the pool, so I wasn't expecting her to get in but I thought I would give it a try!
Here are the kids playing with plastic cups and measuring spoons! Great cheap pool toys!
Emma was the only one not getting in..she just went around the pool and watched what the other kids did and played with the spoons.
And then finally, she stuck one foot in and then the other and by golly she was in the pool! Yeah!!! Success! I had to take many pictures of this momentous occasion!
Now, all the kids were in the pool and having a blast!
And of course we had some crying!
And some getting back at the ones who made the crying happen! I just love Joey's face in this picture..he just looks so devious! This is a normal every day occurrence for Big Emma and Joey
And believe it or not, my kids were the last ones out of the pool!
It was a fun day and a nice way for the kids too cool off!

Emma is more and more like you every day! What a hoot! Not the bravest kid on the block but once she tries something and likes it watch out!!!!!!!!!!! Joey looked like he was having plenty of fun, too! Too bad it's not big enough for Mom and Dad to get cool, too! :)
oh goodness! Your picture on your blog header is awesome ha ha When are we going to hang out? Pretty sure it's been WAY too long since I've seen you and you only 35 minutes away. Did you hear about that seafood spill.....
How funny that she is so squeamish about water! Looks like they all ended up having fun, though
