Trip Week 4: The Train Ride

This week was more of a relaxing week! Mike really needed to get work done so we didn't do much until the end of the week.

Here we are just relaxing at Grandma's house



We were able to find a bike for Emma! And as you can see, she loves it!




I just love KSL..we were also able to buy a cheap cargo carrier for our car! We were going to be bringing so much stuff home with us, that we had to buy one!

Friday was a big day for Joey! He had been waiting very patiently for this day to come :) On Friday, we took Joey on the train (trax)! We went from West Jordan to downtown Salt Lake so he got a pretty decent amount of time on the train! He LOVED every minute of it!

Emma enjoying the train! We were kind of worried she wouldn't like it. She kept telling us through out the week that she didn't want to go on the fast train. We kept on having to reassure her that the train only went straight and didn't go down hill! As we sat down on the train..she took my arm and said, "We only go straight mom, not down hill" She is so cute!



When we got downtown, we walked around temple square and had fun taking some pictures!








I don't know if you can tell, but I also got my hair cut! My cousin, Jana, is a beautician and cut my hair on Thursday!

After pictures, we ate at the Lion House! It was cool to know that we were eating once where Brigham Young ate! They had the best Steak!

We went to the children's museum! There were a ton of things for the kids to do...they had a blast!

Emma LOVED the playhouse! Here she is starting to make a sandwich!

She also really liked the supermarket!

Hmmmm...should I get the cake or the cheese?

They had a real life Life Flight Helicopter you could sit in and start up as well! Joey sure loved that!

Joey loved this one! You would put paper in the case and watch it go up far in the air!

While Mike was building his masterpiece, Me and Emma were having a tea party and eating cereal in the playhouse! She sure loved that playhouse and didn't want to leave!

It was a fun day and Joey has wanted to go back on the train ever since :)
