A Family Visit

Last weekend, my dad and Kareena came from Boise and Kim and John came from Spokane. It was a lot of fun to see them. Kareena made us a yummy dinner and we talked and had fun.

While dinner was cooking we all played Guitar Hero. It was really funny to watch the kids. They really got into it, dancing and blaring their guitars...it was so funny!

Joey and Austin. Joey was so funny! He just kept tapping his leg to the beat. He really loved playing. I got a cute video of Him and Emma playing!




Kim and Keri were hilarious. Can I say....COMPETITIVE! I can't tell you how many times they had to go against each other to get better scores or to beat one another. Keri even took of her professional nails :)



Emma was just about the cutest thing you could ever see! She was shaking her bum and rotating her hips. This girl is going to be very musically talented!




After playing the games, Kim brought out the Jelly Beans that are like the Harry Potter Jelly Beans. You will either get some disgusting flavor or a really yummy one. I tasted toothpaste, black pepper, and baby wipes. I couldn't believe how realistic they tasted!



John said that Rotten Egg was the worst, so we got all the guys to taste it. It didn't seem to phase Brian at all and he had like 4. Mike tried it and just about gagged. Keri and Bryce were the funniest! I didn't get a picture of Bryce because he ran to the sink too fast but Keri's face explains it all! :)

Joey didn't seem to be affected by any of the flavors. He just grabbed them by the handfuls and ate them. Sadly, his favorite was skunk! Not quite sure about that kid :) Emma on the other hand took one Jelly Bean (toothpaste) and freaked out. That was enough for her! She couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the night..she had to ask me what every food was before she put it into her mouth to make sure it wasn't toothpaste..it was too funny! She enjoyed pear though :)

It was a fun night! We were all glad that my Dad and Kareena and Kim's family could come and see us!
