Visit with Friends and Manti Trip

On Wednesday, June 27th, our friends, the Earl's, came from Boise to visit us on their way to a family reunion in St. George.

Their friends son was in the Manti Pageant so we all headed down to Manti that night to see it.

We stopped and got some dinner in Manti before the pageant. This restaurant was having a pageant special. We got breadsticks, salad, Swiss Steak with very yummy potatoes and veggies and chocolate cake all for 8.99. Couldn't beat that!

Here we all are (minus Trisha who is taking the picture) at the restaurant. Tony and Traci Earl and Ken and Tony Earl's brother joined us as well. Tony and Traci had come for the reunion too and were staying with their brother's family.

The gorgeous Manti Temple at the end of the pageant. Sorry the pictures aren't that great...I forgot to charge my camera so it died. :(

More pictures after the pageant

Trisha was nice enough to take this picture for us of our family. I love it!

After the pageant everyone went to a local ice cream shop and got some ice cream cones. Poor Gavin was exhausted :)

The cute girls - Keitra and Emma

It was a long car ride home :)

That next morning, Joey and Corban played the Wii. Joey had been wanting to show Corban his games since we went to Boise for my Grandma's funeral and they played some of Corban's games. Joey was very excited and got to playing right when they woke up :)

I don't think the girls were quite as interested in it as the boys were...lol!

I made whole wheat banana bread waffles and we bought raspberries, blueberries, and bananas to put on top. It was yummy!

Gavin fell asleep on Mike...he has that effect on babies :)

The girls got tired of watching the boys play the Wii so they started to play some games of their own. Here they are playing The My Little Pony version of Candyland

It was fun being able to talk and catch up. Mike and Ken of course talked work work work...all that fun computer gibber jabber us women don't understand :) and the kids sure had a fun time with their friends.

We ended their visit with a fun picnic on our grass
