Madison Family Reunion

Friday and Saturday, August 13th and 14th, was our Madison family reunion up in Boise. We also celebrated my grandma's 90th birthday.

Saturday, we had a picnic at DeMeyer Park. We had pulled pork sandwiches, pizza and a lot of salads and desserts.

We had a nice program for my grandma where all of the kids told some great things about their mom and then the grandkids had a chance to speak about grandma. It was really nice to hear so many memories. A lot of my grandma's friends came to celebrate her birthday with us. My grandma was just having a blast. What was so neat was while we were singing Happy Birthday to my grandma, this Italian couple (who was having a party right next to us), came over and sang Happy Birthday to her in Italian. Oh my gosh their voices were amazing. They sing at Johnny Carino's as well.

That night we hung out with my Dad and Kareena and ate pizza and yummy Albertson's cookies.

The kids really enjoyed playing with their dog, Zeplin. Emma was so funny. Joey would get the bone out of Zeplin's mouth and give it to Emma. Emma would put it up high and try to get the dog to catch it and every time he did it scared her so bad that she would laugh so hard! It was hilarious to watch!




Sunday we had a picnic at the park with Mike's sister and brother, Jennifer and Jason. The kids had fun being able to play with their little cousin, Elizabeth. After that we drove home. It was a fast trip but it was fun to see so much family.
