We did the last few requirements Joey needed to do to receive his Bear in Scouts. We went on a bike ride and played monopoly.
Along with the fun times of Christmas, this was a sad time for us as well. We found out we were getting kicked out of our home for no reason. Our owners want to sell the house. It has been rather depressing. I truly loved this house. It was perfect for our little family. It had everything we wanted (minus the dishwasher) The kids had a huge yard, Mike had a studio and we had just enough bedrooms. It was such a pretty layout. We found out just before Christmas that we basically had until end of December to leave. We immediately told our ward in hopes of helping us find a place.
These beautiful poinsettias were on my door step that next morning in hopes to lift our spirits. I truly hope whoever did this knows how much they brightened up my day.
On Tuesday, December 16th, we had the Cub Scouts Christmas Party and Joey received his Bear Award. They did a really cute job here when a scout advances. They paint their face along with a story of whatever rank they are getting.
They played a few games. This one was a large taped up ball full of candy and they had to take turns trying to get the candy out.

They also made ornaments and decorated gingerbread men
On Wednesday, December 17th, we made and decorated a gingerbread house.
On Christmas Eve, we had our school Christmas Party. We made tin can snowmen
Made edible pinecones, listened to Christmas music and watched A Charlie Brown Christmas.

I wish I could have seen your home! We sure missed you this year for Christmas! It just wasn't the same for us. It looks like you had a very nice one, and I loved your tree!
