A lost tooth and our indoor camping trip

First off, our Miss Emma lost her first teeth on September 4th. She actually lost 2 at the same time. When she was a baby she got all of her teeth within a 2 week period of time when she turned 1. I sure hope she doesn't loose them that fast...lol, the tooth fairy can't afford that :)

It was a pretty traumatic experience for her and Daddy but the teeth finally came out and Emma got a mini Rapunzel, Flynn and Maximus toy and the tooth fairy came for her second tooth. We got Joey a toy for his first tooth as well. It was more special that way I think.
 

So we were planning our annual family camp out over Labor Day weekend and unfortunately we weren't able to go. It rained a ton and thundered and lightening pretty bad. I couldn't believe how close the lightening was. It was about every 5 to 10 seconds apart. That would have been pretty scary being in the woods with all the high trees.

The kids were pretty bummed so we decided to have a camp out in our living room. Mike and Joey used our huge tarp and dining room chairs to make a tent.

We then watched a movie which we typically would not have done if we had actually gone camping but it was Friday which is our normal family movie night so we combined them :)

We then made s'mores by broiling them in the oven...YUM!

It ended up being a pretty fun evening!
